Murder accused sentenced to life in Sultanpur

Sultanpur, Nov 11: A local court has sentenced a person, accused of killing a woman two years ago, for life.

According to prosecution, Guddi resident of Singhnamau in Shukla bazaar went missing under suspicious circumstances on April 20, 2006. After five days, her body was recovered from a well.

Hearing the case yesterday, Fast Track Court (V) Judge Satyaram Yadav held one Bhawani Prasad guilty into the crime. Besides, the court imposed a penalty of Rs 5,000 on him.
