Madurai: Pvt Cos asked to participate in job fairs

Madurai, Nov 11: On the eve of job fairs in rural areas 'Kalaignar 85', Kanimozhi MP asked private firms to participate in job fairs. He has personally written to hundreds of private companies, trade bodies and chambers of commerce.

The fairs will be held all over the State as part of the celebrations marking the 85th birthday of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

He said the job fairs were benefiting three categories of job-seekers: Group A is for graduates, postgraduates and engineers, Group B for those with technical qualifications such as ITI and diploma, and Group C for candidates of X/Plus Two pass or fail, drivers, helpers and others.

Nearly 300 companies have come forward to participate and recruit suitable candidates.
