Cheques for Rs 18.75 lakh distributed to education institutions

Phagwara, Nov 11 (UNI) Punjab Technical education Minister Swarana Ram gave grant of Rs 18.75 lakh to various education institutions and social organisations here today.

He distributed cheques for the amount at a colourful function held in local Sukhchain Sahib College.

He said the Punjab Government had sanctioned Rs 8.26 crore for the existing sewerages in Phagwara town.
