Auto-driver murdered, two arrested in Jammu

Jammu, Nov 11 (UNI) Two people were arrested by the police for murdering an auto driver in the heart of the city late last night, police sources here said.

''The auto driver was hit with an iron rod by the mini bus driver in a fit of anger after they entered into a brawl resulting into critical injuries to him,'' police said and added that he was immediately shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital where he succumbed.

The deceased has been identified as Sudhir Sharma, resident of Rehari Colony.

Meanwhile, police arrested the accused identified as Joginder Kumar and Rajinder Singh, both residents of Chawadi and case under section 302 has been registered against them.
