156 Urdu teachers, translators to assist J
Kanpur, Nov 11 (UNI) A batch of 156 Urdu teachers and translators would visit Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) for assistance during the state assembly election there.
Giving this information, Assistant Election Officer of Kanpur district election office, Y K Tripathi, today said the training of the teachers and translators has already been completed.
The batch would proceed to Delhi by train in next few days and from there they would air dash to Jammu under the supervision of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Each member in the group would be insured for Rs 10 lakh and also provided Dearness Allowance and Rs 5,000 for purchase of wollen clothes along with the wage, Mr Tripathi informed.
He said this batch would help in smooth conduction of at least two phases of the J&K assembly election.
