MP heading for hung assembly: BJS
Bhopal, Nov 10 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti Party (BJS) National Working President Sangha Priya Gautam today said Mahdya Pradesh is heading for a hung assembly and the BJS would play a decisive role in the formation of the next government.
''We will form the government on our own condition, as neither the BJP nor the Congress, will be able to form government and the BJS would emerge as a party to reckon with,'' Mr Gautam told reporters here, while releasing the list of party candidates.
Responding to a query, he denied that certain leaders had joined the BJS in order to get party ticket. BJP leaders and leaders from some Hindu organisation had joined the party due to ideological similarity and it would make the party stronger.
About Ms Bharti becoming the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr Gautam said, ''Ms Bharti is our prime ministerial candidate.'' He said the BJS would emerge as third force in the state politics.
Stating that BJS leader Prahlad Patel had not left the party, he said, ''Mr Patel will play an important role to keep away the BJP and the Congress.'' He said the BJS would release election manifesto in Madhya Pradesh on November 15 in presence of the national leaders.
