Madurai: Difficulties in health insurance scheme

Madurai, Nov 10: As employees of Tamil Nadu are facing many difficulties in the health scheme, the Madurai unit Employees" Association has called for the Government"s intervention in implementing the health insurance scheme.

The new Health Insurance Scheme came into force in June 2008. The association said that according to the guidelines issued, government employees do not have to pay any charges, including for food, to the enlisted hospitals.
