3 of a family die following dispute

Lakhisarai, Nov 10 (UNI) Following a family dispute, a woman committed suicide by immolating herself, inadvertently killing her two minor children, along with her at Kiranpur village under Medni Chowcky here last night.

Police today said one Pappu Mahto of the village was planning to go outside the state in search of job. His wife Rupam Devi was insisting to accompany him which had led to a heated argument between the couple.

When the family members were asleep, Rupam Devi committed suicide by burning herself after sprinkling kerosene on herself. The woman died on the spot. However, the fire also engulfed her two children - a four-year-old boy and a nine-month-old girl.

The boy died on the spot while the girl succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.
