Scary Spice's hubby's ex reveals his 'dirty' past

London, November 9 : While Melanie Brown renewed her wedding vows with hubby Stephen Belafonte in Egypt, his ex-girlfriend Nicole Contreras has given out details of her violent and abusive past with the film producer.

Nicole laid bare the trauma she had suffered whilst she was with Belafonte who had continued to sleep with her several times while still dating the Spice girl.

She further added how Belafonte had almost gone on his knees pleading to take him back after traumatising her with drunken violence, extreme possessiveness, and even trying to strangle her.

"We were still on and off and would sleep together from time to time-but one night he turned to me and said, 'Nikki I've met someone who is very famous and very rich and wants to marry me but if you will have me back then I'll forget it'," News of the World quoted her as saying.

Speaking of former beau, who recently repeated the wedding vows with the Scary Spice at the exclusive Jaz Makadi Golf Hotel, Nicole said: "All Stephen cares about is money and marrying Mel was the golden ticket he had always dreamed of.

"Now I pray, for her sake, that he has changed his ways. But I doubt it very much."
