Christian pilgrims injured as truck fell on road

Shillong, Nov 9 (UNI) At least one person was killed and 32 other pilgrims were injured, some of them critically, when a truck in which they were travelling overturned, nere here, today.

The victims, all Christian pilgirms, were coming to Shilling to attend a religious function.

Police said the accident occurred at Lad Nong Krem, about twelve km from here.

The critically injured were admitted to severel hospitals.
