Bihar: Case booked against Lalu Prasad

Muzaffarpur, Nov 9: A case has been filed against five people, including Railway Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Praful Patel and MNS chief Raj Thackeray, in connection with the ongoing attacks on North Indians in Maharashtra. The case was filed before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate J K Sinha.

The Director General of Police (Mumbai) was also made accused in the case. Through the petition, complainant Chandra Kishore Parashar blamed the MNS chief for the killing of Pawan Mahto of Nalanda district, who had gone to appear in the examinations of railways in Mumbai, and a youth of Gorakhpur in a local train in Mumbai.

In the case, it has also been alleged that the Railway Minister deliberately organised the examinations in Mumbai even after being aware of the attacks on the North Indians in Maharashtra.

Mr Patel and Home Minister of Maharashtra R R Patil was also made accused for justifying the attacks on North Indians and for not taking any action to maintain unity of the country.
