Mettur water level at 84.320 ft

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 8 (UNI) The water level in the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across river Cauvery was 84.32 feet this morning as against its total capacity of 120 feet.

PWD sources said the inflow into the reservoir was 5,542 cusecs and the discharge 16,018 cusecs.

From the Grand Anaicut, 1,419 cusecs was discharged through river Cauvery and 6,505 cusecs through Vennar, 2,306 cusecs through Grand Anaicut Canal and 1020 cusecs through Coleroon for irrigation.
