Electricity consumers sanghatana files cases on
Kolhapur, Nov 8 (UNI) Maharashtra state electricity consumers sanghatana today lodged case with Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) against Maharashtra Electricity Distribution Ltd Company alleging heavy load-sheding on industrial and farmer consumers, violating MERC norms.
Consumers sanghatana chief Pratap Hogade alleged that industrial and farmer cosumers were facing additional heavy loadsheding due to the authorities favouring advertisement bill-boards, construction businessmen and others.
Sanghatana filed case against the company's Managing Director (finance), Chief Engineer, Superintendent Engineer and others.
Hearing in the case will on November 19, Hoagade informed.
