Counterfeit currency worth Rs 2700 seized, one held
Basti, Nov 8 (UNI) Fake Indian currency worth Rs 2,700 was seized by police today in Dasiya colony here.
Acting on a tip-off, police confronted a person on Rudauli road and recovered counterfeit currency from him.
The arrested possessed 22 notes of Rs 100 denomination and one note of Rs 500 denomination, the police said.
Investigations were on, the police added.
