Purohit
arrested
in
the
case
of
Malegaon
blasts
has
confessed
in
the
court
of
law
that
he
was
the
mastermind
behind
the
blasts.
According
to
sources,
the
37-year-old
officer
reportedly
told
police
that
he
had
mapped
the
conspiracy
and
provided
RDX
and
weapons
for
the
'revenge'
attack
which
killed
six
people.
Meanwhile,
the
Maharashtra
Anti-Terrorist
Squad
is
reported
to
make
more
arrests
in
the
army
in
connection
to
the
blasts,
and
set
to
question
another
serving
army
officer.
Sources
told
that
the
suspect
is
a
colleague
of
Purohit.
The
Nashik
court
had
given
permission
for
a
narco
test
on
Purohit
on
Thursday,
Nov
6.
The
ATS
claims
Purohit
had
a
direct
role
in
the
Malegaon
Blasts
and
said
in
court
that
he
gave
at
least
four
weapons
to
the
other
accused.
He also allegedly transferred funds into their accounts. The ATS also wants to conduct further scientific tests on accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur.
This, after the ATS showed discontentment with the results of the brain mapping, polygraph and narco analysis tests conducted on the Sadhvi.
The court has granted permission to conduct the narco test on Friday, Nov 7 and Saturday, Nov 8.
