Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 7(UNI) Keralites will have to pay more for electricity, with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) giving its nod to the State Electricity Board to hike the tariff for those who consume more electricity than the minimum fixed by the Board.

In an order issued by the SERC, the consumers, both domestic and industrial, would have to pay Rs 7.85 each additional unit, if they consume more than the minimum 200 units fixed per month.
