Haryana Power Utilities simplify new connection procedure
Chandigarh, Nov 7 (UNI) The procedure of issue of 'no objection certificate' by the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam has been dispensed with to speed up the process of release of connections by the distribution companies.
A spokesman said here today that the Superintending Engineers (SEs) of transmission system will supply the loading status as well as the capacity of transformers of various substations to the SEs concerned of the operation wing on fortnightly basis so that the same could be taken care of while releasing connections from respective substations.
The distribution companies will ensure that there is no overloading of the transformers and substations due to release of connections. The new arrangement shall enable the distribution companies to process the applications immediately and expedite the release of new connections, the spokesman said.
