CPI(ML) holds 'Mazdoor Kisan Adhikar' rally in UP district
Ballia, Nov 7 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) today held a 'Mazdoor Kisan Adhikar' rally here against the anti-farmer policies of the ruling Manmohan Singh and the Mayawati governments at the Centre and the state respectively.
''The CPI(ML) is moving ahead to project itself as the party of the poor to give a befitting reply to both the central and state governments for their anti-farmer attitude,'' CPI(ML) general secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya said addressing people at the rally.
The poors were least benefitted under the Mayawati regime, which had remained in the stint in the state for four times, he charged.
The party leader also said the Prime Minister has got a befitting reply for praising US President George Bush after the victory of Barack Obama. The US poll results show that people have voted out the wrong policies there, he added.
