Court extends Faizal's judicial custody

Kannur, Nov 7 (UNI) The Thalassery Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court here today extended the judicial custody of C Muhammed Faizal, who was arrested in connection with his alleged links with terrorist groups in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Special Investigation team produced him before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate V K Rajan, who extended his judicial custody till November 21.

Faizal was arrested following a tip-off from the slain militant Fayaz's mother Safiya.

Safiya had informed the police here that Faizal had taken away Fayaz by offering him a job at Bangalore on September 10.
