BJP observers protest against killing of Swami Laxmananand

Tirupati, Nov 7 (UNI) In protest against the killing of Swami Laxmananand Saraswati in Orissa, BJP activists took out a demonstration in front of the Revenue Division Office (RDO) here today.

As many as 60 activists headed by former Sikkim Governor Rama Rao and local BJP leaders including Bhanuprakash Reddy and Samanchi Srinivas took out a procession from four pillar junction to the RDO where they demanded strict action against the guilty.

Later, they handed over a memorandum to the RDO demanding punishment to the guilty.

Earlier, the activists resorted to dharna at the busy four pillar junction, causing a traffic jam for more than half an hour.
