Advocates granted interim relief in atrocity case till Nov 17

Mumbai, Nov 7 (UNI) A local court today granted interim relief till November 17 to all the 12 advocates practising at Metropolitan Court Bandra in an atrocity case.

Advocate Jyoti Jadhav had filed an atrocity case against 12 advocates including four women practising at Metropolitan Magistrate Court Bandra, recently with Nirmal Nagar police station, Bandra in western suburb.

Advocate Sudeep Pasbola, representing the advocates said here today that the advocates have filed anticipatory bail applications before Additional Session Court Judge Kiran Bhedi (special court) in the case.

Judge Bhedi has admitted the application and fixed November 17 for hearing on the petition, as public prosecutor will be on leave till that date.
