Pratap Gawas, Congress candidate for Pale assembly seat

Panaji, Nov 6 (UNI) Goa Congress today announced Pratap Gawas as their candidate for the Pale assembly constituency by-election, scheduled for November 26.

The Pale seat had fallen vaccant earlier in June this year, following the death of sitting Congress MLA Gurudas Gawas.

Congress state unit president Subhash Shirodkar informed of the decision here today to mediapersons in presence of Mr Pratap, who is a brother of Mr Gurudas Gawas, and said that he would file his nomination papers tomorrow.
