Pondy: Municipal employees agitate

Puducherry, Nov 6: The municipality employees affiliated to CITU on Thursday, Nov 6 organised street corner meetings as part oftheir agitation to press for the implementation of the sixth pay commission recommendations to municipal employees also.

The employees, affiliated to other trade unions, had postponed their agitation following an assurance from the administration to increase salary as per as the sixth pay commission recommedations.
