Mah govt promulgates ordinance for losses during agitations

Mumbai, Nov 6 (UNI) Maharashtra government has issued the Mumbai Police Act (amendment) ordinance 2008 that entails political parties to pay compensation for the losses caused in violence that erupts during various agitations organised by them.

The ordinance is an amendment to the Mumbai Police Act of 1951, an official release said.
