Madge begs gal pal Gwyneth Paltrow to move to Big Apple

London, Nov 6 : Popstar Madonna is pleading pal Gwyneth Paltrow to follow her lead and quit Britain for the Big Apple, it has emerged.

The '4 Minute' hitmaker and Paltrow are great friends and the actress is supporting the 50-year-old through her bitter divorce battle with estranged husband Guy Ritchie.

Madonna, who plans to move to the Big Apple in a bid to rebuild her life with kids Rocco, David and Lourdes, has been begging chum Paltrow to follow in her footsteps, according to sources.

"Madonna and Gwyneth are bosom buddies. Gwyn was a rock to Madonna while she was considering whether to leave Guy - she had strong views on the situation. They were in constant contact during the difficult period and Madonna really valued Gwyneth's advice," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

"Madge is desperately sad to be leaving one of her best friends behind and has been urging her to join her in the Big Apple," the source added.
