Deepak Kumar Panwar becomes the new Chairman of FCI

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) Deepak Kumar Panwar -a 1974 IAS officer of the Andhra cadre has taken over as Chairman, Food Corporation of India (FCI), here.

Mr Panwar succeeds Alok Sinha, who superannuated on October 31,2008.

Prior to joining the FCI yesterday, Mr Panwar has been the Additional Chief Secretary and Chief Commissioner, Land Administration, Andhra Pradesh Government.
