Day 7: 308 nominations filed in MP

Bhopal, Nov 6 (UNI) A total of 308 nominations were filed on the penultimate day for filing of nominations for the Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh today.

According to election office sources here out of 308 nomination papers filed 281 were male and 27 female candidates respectively.

Till today a total 1306 nominations were filed in 230 constituencies where polling is scheduled on November 27.

Bharatiya Jan Shakti State President Ashok Tripathi has filed his nomination from Bioara (Rajgarh) constituency. On this occasion former state chief minister and party head Uma Bharti was also present there.

Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader and former union minister Vikram Verma's wife Nina Verma also filed nomination from Dhar constituency.
