2-day felicitations to commemorate poet Iqbal

Bhopal, Nov 6 (UNI) In order to commemorate Allama Iqbal, the famous Urdu poet, the two two-day Iqbal Samaroh would be organised at state capital from November 9.

Iqbal has penned famous patriotic song -- Sare Jahan se Accha Hindustan Hamara.

A painting competition would be organised on first day in three categories based on the poet's poems.

On the same day, a seminar would be held in the evening on the subject of 'Flora and fauna in Iqbal's poem'. Aligarh Mulim University Head of Journalism Department Shaify Qureshi would take part.

The second day celebrations would be started with Baitbazi programme and Director Culture would be the chief guest of the occasion.
