14 kg heroin seized in Punjab
Amritsar, Nov 6 (UNI) The special narcotic cell of the Punjab police seized 14 kg heroin valued at Rs 70 crore in the international market, in the city here this morning.
Confirming the seizure, Narcotic cell SSP Parveen Sinha said that so far two persons have been apprehended in this connection.
He said that the operation was still on to nab another associate of the drug smugglers. The heroin had been smuggled from Pakistan and was to be transported to Delhi.
