SC to hear Shashi Nath Jha murder case on Nov 27
Bokaro, Nov 5 (UNI) The Supreme Court will hear the controversial Shashi Nath Jha murder case on November 27, in which Jharkhad Chief Minister Shibu Soren is an accused.
Shashinath was the personal secretary of Mr Soren when the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha president was accused of receiving huge money to save the P V Narasimha Rao government during no-trust motion in the Parliament.
Yesterday, the SC heard a petition filed in this regard and fixed November 27 as next date of hearing.
The court also asked Mr Soren to furnish details of his assets.
Jharkhand Vikas Morcha president Mukesh Baba and Shashinath's family members had approached the Apex court seeking review of a lower court verdict that acquitted Mr Soren in the case.
