Madhya Pradesh: Polling to begin after mock poll

Bhopal, Nov 5: Madhya Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer J S Mathur has said polling would begin only after district returning officers get complete report of mock poll.

Mr Mathur appealed to all political parties and independent candidates to ensure that their election agents reach at polling centres in time.

According to official information, Mr Mahtur made the statement while addressing representatives of political parties here yesterday. On the occasion, a draw was taken out for allocation of date and time for utilising publicity facility on Doordarshan and All India Radio.

He asked candidates to not let crowd gather in the room of the district returning officer. He also sought list of star campaigners from various parties at the earliest.

Mr Mathur said mock poll would begin 30 minutes before polling.
