Chouhan files nomination from Budhni
Sehore, MP, Nov 5 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today filed his nomination papers as the BJP nominee for the Assembly election from this district's Budhni constituency.
After offering prayers at the famous Ganesh temple here, Mr Chouhan, accompanied by about four people, reached the Returning Officer's chamber to file the papers.
A strict adherant to the poll norms, Mr Chouhan's convoy comprised only three vehicles.
Talking to newspersons, 49-year-old Chouhan said he and his party believed in strict observance of the model code of conduct for polls and he had followed it while filing his papers also.
After assuming charge as Chief Minister on November 29, 2005, Mr Chouhan was elected to the Assembly in a by-election from Budhni.
