Ansari denied permission to visit Parliament

Ghazipur, Nov 5 (UNI) Expelled Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Afzal Ansari was once again denied permission to present himself before Lok Sabha (LS) Speaker Somnath Chatterjee in connection with the termination of his membership.

Ansari is presently incarcerated in the district jail over the infamous BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai murder case.

Fast Track Court (I) S N Singh yesterday turn down his application, seeking permission to go to Delhi in the regard.

Earlier, a local court had disallowed him to present himself before the LS speaker on October 22.

This time, he was asked to present self on November 12.

He was denied this permission as the Allahabad High Court had seized the rights of the FTC, barring remand orders, in an order for the accused into the murder case.
