Union Bank to withdraw 900 day scheme

Mumbai, Nov 4: Union Bank of India will withdraw its special 900-day deposit scheme, which offers an interest rate of 10.5 per cent per annum, from November 9.

The closure of this scheme, in place since October six, will account for approximately Rs 4,000 crore of deposits, announced a Bank release here on Tuesday, Nov 4. The bank will offer maximum card rate of 10 per cent from November 10, it added.
