SC orders fresh probe in Mumbai music school case
New Delhi, Nov 4 (UNI) The Supreme Court today directed that a police officer not below the rank of DIG will carry out a fresh inquiry into the allegations that Mumbai-based Boss School of Music was indulging in witchcraft.
A bench headed by Arijit Pasayat issued the directions on the petition filed by the School and its authorities challenging a Bombay High Court order holding them guilty of indulging in witchcraft.
According to the petitioner, the action against them was an attack on the freedom of the School authorities.
Many people, including the School principal, are also facing contempt of court charges for making reckless allegations against the High Court judges who had heard their cases.
