Pension scandal probe panel begins work
Bhopal, Nov 4 (UNI) Justice N K Jain Commission will hold its sitting at its Bhopal office on December 15 to probe the irregularities in social security pension and National Old Age Pension Scheme.
The Madhya Pradesh government has set up the commission under the Commission of Inquiry Act, 1952.
A notification issued on October 17 by Commission Secretary Anil Kumar Selat said the public in general and all parties had been asked to submit a written statement before the commission within one month.
Besides Social Justice department, all District Collectors, civic bodies and block panchayats have been made parties in the probe, which will investigate the into irregularities in the distribution of pension fund released by the central and state governments since 2000.
