Not a single normal polling station in Baramulla in J

Srinagar, Nov 4 (UNI) The Baramulla district, having seven assembly segments, has achieved a ''dubious distinction'' as all of its polling stations have been declared hypersensitive or sensitive, in view of high degree of threat perception.

The notification for the seven constituencies--Uri, Rafiabad, Sopore, Sangrama, Baramulla, Gulmarg and Pattan--would be issued on November 10 for the fourth phase of polls on December 7.

The last date of filing nomination papers is November 17, and scrutiny would be held the next day and date of withdrawal is November 20.

The District Election Officer, Mr Baseer Khan, who is also the District Election Officer, said seven Assembly constituencies have a total electorate of 5,18,964. The number of migrant voters is 7,689.

He said 743 Polling Stations are being set up in the district.

Of these, 445 Polling Stations are sensitive and 298 are hyper-sensitive.
