TN: Lawyers stir 'rasta roko' on NH

Perambalur, Nov 4: Vehicular traffic on the Tiruchirapalli-Chennai National Highway came to standstill for quite sometime, as a section of lawyers resorted to a 'road roko' stir at Viyagopalapuram on Tuesday, Nov 4. Led by Perambalur Bar Association President Valluvan Nambi, they protested against the action of a special police team, who were conducting a routine vehicle check on Monday, Nov 3 night.

A group of advocates, who were travelling in a car, had to wait for long hours at Vijayagopalapuram due to the police check, according to Bar Association.
