ICSI to hold national convention in Goa from Nov 6
New Delhi, Nov 4 (UNI) The premier Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is organising its 36th national convention of Company Secretaries from November 6 to 8 at Campal in Panaji, Goa.
With the theme of 'Achieving Excellence through Innovation', the convention will deliberate on 'Embracing Emerging Technologies for Quantum Growth', 'Unlocking Stakeholder Value Through Restructuring' and 'Innovative Financing Opportunities in the Global Capital Market'.
The keynote address will be delivered by Mr R Gopalakrishnan, Executive Director, Tata Sons. Goa Governor Shivinder Singh Sidhu will be the chief guest, while Mr Dattaraj V Raj Salgaocar, Managing Director of the V M Salgaocar group of companies will be the guest of honour.
A special session on Companies Bill, 2008 and Limited Liability Partnership Bill will be held. Mr Jitesh Khosla, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs will address the special session.
About 1,000 delegates including managing directors, CEOs, directors, executive directors and Presidents/CEO's of Company Secretaries Institutes from Hong Kong, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Zambia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Mauritius, Kenya will take part.
Eminent professionals and management experts will address the participants and there would be brainstorming sessions and interactions.
