Hindu Morcha to protest Pragya's arrest
Bhopal, Nov 4 (UNI) The newly-floated Hindu Sangharsh Morcha, an amalgamation of several Hindu outfits, would launch an agitation tomorrow in the Madhya Pradesh capital in protest against the arrest of former Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad activist Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur alias Purna Chetnanand Giri and others in connection with the Malegaon blasts.
Morcha spokesman Manoj Pradhan told reporters here today that more than 30 city-based Hindu organisations had come together to oppose the ''conspiracy to malign and harass Hindus.'' Protesting against the projection of Hindus as terrorists, Mr Pradhan said, ''no Hindu is a terrorist and a deep-rooted conspiracy is being hatched against the community. They may be criminals but not terrorists.'' The Sadhvi was falsely implicated in the blasts and the voice in a certain tape was also not hers, he said, while adding that Maharashtra's Anti-Terrorist Squad was attempting to frame her this way as it failed to get evidence.
''The Morcha will launch a countrywide agitation if the Sadhvi and others are not released,'' Mr Pradhan warned.
