UT appeals to perform 'Chatt Pooja' at Sect 42 lake

Chandigarh, Nov 3 (UNI) In its endeavour to keep Sukhna Lake neat and clean, the Chandigarh Administration has appealed the general public to make use of the new lake at Sector 42 for 'Chatt Pooja'.

To reduce congestion at Dhanas Lake and Sukhna Lake, which has been declared a silence zone, the city administration has built a new lake in an area of 3.25 acres with two decks in Sector 42 near Beant Singh Memorial for performing religious ceremonies.
