Rashtrawadi Sena activists ransack Maharashtra Sadan reception
New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) Nearly two dozen miscreants ransacked the Maharashtra Sadan reception on Copernicus Marg here this afternoon demanding immediate arrest of MNS chief Raj Thackeray for attacking north Indians in Mumbai.
Raising 'Go Back Marathis' and 'Arrest Raj Thackeray' slogans, the Rashtrawadi Sena activists barged into the reception of the Maha Sadan at about 1235 hrs and ransacked the furniture and other items kept there, said a senior police official.
''They broke window panes and the glassware kept there. They also pushed the guard on duty while entering.'' However, no one was injured in the incident, he said adding that after creating nuisance for about ten minutes, they walked off after which the police was informed.
''We have arrested three of them and charged them for rioting.'' Sources said the Rashtrawadi Sena is led by Jai Bhagwan Goyal, a former Shiv Sena leader.
