I can join politics only if God orders me: Rajini

Chennai, Nov 3: Tamil Super star Rajnikanth on Monday, Nov 3 reiterated that he could not be compelled to enter politics, and the call should come from God for taking the political plunge. Addressing members of his fan's association from various districts amid rising demand for his political entry, here, he said ''no one can compel me to enter politics.'' ''God willing I will take the plunge. The orders has to come from God. Once the order comes from God, no one can stop me from entering into politics,'' he added.

He said compelling him to launch a political party was akin to forcing one for a marriage. ''If one was forced into marriage, the couple cannot lead a happy married life. Forcing me to enter politics is akin to it,'' he said, stoutly rejecting the fan's oft-repeated demand for him to take the proverbial plunge.
