Case of mistaken identity, Police kills youth

Bhiwani, Nov 3: An 18-year-old youth was shot dead by police in Halluvas village on Sunday, Nov 2 night in a case of mistaken identity. The deceased identified as Kuldeep, was riding a motorcycle along with some of his biker friends at around 1230 hrs when a Hasi police from Hisar, which had come here to look out for a criminal near Bhiwani. As part of the search they stopped two youths on a motorcycle who were allegedly drunk. When they saw police stopping them, the boys tried to run away. The police chased them and killed one of them. A case has been registered against eight policemen.

Just In: Students across the State are on a rampage and acts of vandalism have been reported following the incident. Opposition parties are taking stock of the situation and are protesting towards the incident.
