Eicher Motors commercial vehicle sales down 55% in October

New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) Commercial vehicle manufacturer Eicher Motors Ltd today said it has posted a 55 per cent drop in its truck and bus sales in October.

Eicher Motors, a part of the Eicher Group, sold 1,367 units trucks and buses in October, against 3,013 units during the corresponding period a year ago, the company said in a statement.

The domestic sales went down to 1,183, down 59 per cent in the month from 2,855 units a year ago.

It manufacturers and markets trucks, buses, automotive gears, motorcycle and deals with the exports vehicles, aggregate and components.
