All party dharna seeks dropping of two Ministers in sand scandal
Kakinada, Nov 3 (UNI) The alleged multi-crore scandal in sand auctions allegedly involving Minister for Panchayati Raj J C Diwakara Reddy and Minister for Small Scale Industries Gollapalli Suryarao in East Godavari district took a new turn today with all political parties unitedly staging a dharna in front of the Collectorate demanding their dismissal.
The BJP, Lok Satta, CPI, CPI(M), BSP, TDP and Praja Rajyam party took part in the dharna as well as a protest demonstration.
They vowed to intensify the stir till the Chief Minister dropped both the Ministers from the cabinet and order a detailed probe by a sitting High court judge.
