Sangma not admitted in hospital: family

Shillong, Nov 2 (UNI) The family members of NCP leader PA Sangma today denied that he was admitted in a local private hospital here last evening.

'' Mr Sangma went to the hospital for a medical check-up and returned home. His Blood Pressure was normal,'' the former Lok Speaker's son Conrad K Sangma said.

Mr Conrad, Finance Minister in the ruling Meghalaya Progressive Alliance government, said his father was ''physically fit'' and ''is at home'', while terming media reports ''baseless'' and ''unfounded.'' A section of the media reported here that Mr Sangma on Saturday night was admitted in a local private hospital following hypertension.
