NGO comes to assist poor girls in their studies
Shimla, Nov 2 (UNI) 'Sarthak Family Turst' a local NGO has came forward to provide financial assistance to 21 girls belonging to poor families for their marriages.
The Chairman of Sarthak Family, Mr Gopal Aggarwal told UNI that the NGO for the last 40 years has been helping to provide education to children of poor families. As of now about 500 students are being provided scholarships.
Mr Aggarwal said that NGO has contributed an ambulance van to a hospital at Tauni Devi in district Hamipur and the keys of this van were handed over to the chief minister last month.
