More than a dozen PDP workers injured in stone pelting in Kashmir
Srinagar, Nov 2 (UNI) More than a dozen supporters of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were injured in stone pelting at Anantnag in south Kashmir this afternoon, official sources said.
They said immediately after the election meeting, which was addressed by PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and President Mehbooba Mufti, some unidentified people pelted stones on PDP workers when they were on the way to their home.
A PDP worker, who had received a head injury, said a group of persons pelted stones at them near Achabal adda in the town.
The injured were admitted to district hospital where they were given first aid.
A majority of them have been discharged.
