Idols worth sevwerl lakhs recovered in UP

Lucknow, Nov 2 (UNI) Police today succeeded in recovering two recently robbed 'ashtadhatu' idols from Kotwali area of Etawah district after the arrest of two people.

Information from state Director General of Police (DGP) said the idols, weighing around seven kg and costing Rs several lakhs, were found broken at the time of seizure.

Two people have been apprehended in the connection.

The said idols were spotted missing at a temple in Madhya Pradesh on October 13.
